Elphaba, a young woman misunderstood for her green skin, and Glinda, a popular girl, become friends at Shiz University in the Land of Oz. After meeting the wonderful Wizard of Oz, their friendship comes to a crossroads. Cynthia Erivo in Wicked and other actors who completely transformed their roles. The name of the Wicked Witch, Elphaba, was created based on the phonetic pronunciation of the letter.
